About Eric 
Elected to serve the 158th Legislative District, Rep. Eric Roe was sworn into office on Jan. 3, 2017.

Raised in Chester County, Roe graduated from West Chester Henderson High School before earning degrees from American University in Washington, D.C., and University College London in the United Kingdom.

Before taking office, Roe served as an administrative analyst for Chester County Commissioner Michelle Kichline. Prior to that, he was a fellow at the John Jay Institute and served as a special assistant at the Chertoff Group, a homeland security consulting firm led by former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.

As a state representative, Roe’s top priorities include reforming the public employee pension system, overhauling Pennsylvania’s system of property taxation, strengthening education, and working to foster an environment in the Commonwealth that promotes job creation and business development.

Eric serves on the following committees: Aging and Older Adult Services; Finance; Human Services; and Urban Affairs.

Eric serves on the following caucuses: Government Reform; Agriculture; Taxpayers; Climate; and Nuclear Energy.
